Span + void + open sky.
This study reduces sandstone formations into structural curves and negative space. It leans into contrast—weight and lift, compression and openness—using layered geometry to suggest scale of rock against open sky.
The simplest cues of sandstone—arched spans, fins, and the bright sky cut through form—are distilled into a minimal structure. “Arch” is carried by proportion and negative space rather than illustration.
Mineral color and layering suggest heat, depth, and shadow shifts while preserving calm, graphic clarity. The result is pared back and durable: designed to wear in the field and also read as a graphic object.
