A screenprinted textile series inspired by public lands.
The Wildlands project translates the patterns of wild landscapes into hand-drawn bandanas—layered textile studies that blend nature, place, sustainable craft, and everyday utility.
Wildlands is a textile arts initiative that distills natural landscapes into hand-drawn, contemporary bandana designs. Each piece begins as a place-based observation, abstracted into pattern, line, and color through an iterative design process.
Developed under the Wild Collected studio, the project emphasizes thoughtful material choices and responsible production, collaborating with professional printers to produce limited runs on organic cotton using water-based inks. The resulting textiles balance everyday utility with graphic clarity, creating accessible, wearable art inspired by public lands.
Wildlands bandanas are developed through a layered design and color-separation process, with each study refined for clarity, durability, and screenprint translation. Designs are produced in limited runs, balancing graphic precision with the tactile qualities of fabric.
Production is carried out in collaboration with professional printers using 100% organic cotton and water-based inks. Material choices prioritize longevity and reduced environmental impact while supporting everyday use.
Each print run is editioned as part of the broader Wildlands series, reflecting an ongoing exploration of pattern, abstraction, and place through textile form.
Wildlands is developed as an ongoing studio practice under Wild Collected. Inquiries related to retail partnerships, conservation-aligned collaborations, press, or project notes are welcome.
