Hello.

I’m Katherine — a garden designer, writer, and traveler drawn to public lands, botanical gardens, and wild natural landscapes. My work grows out of a deep connection to the natural world and an interest in how we design, care for, and experience the places around us.

My partner and I set out on a year-long, cross-continent adventure — a true trip of a lifetime. This site follows our path through national parks, forests, urban green spaces, and public gardens, sharing can’t-miss experiences, travel insights, and reflections gathered along the way. The big trip may be behind us, but we haven’t stopped exploring whenever opportunity knocks.
